Immigration Fees

In immigration cases, we normally charge fixed fees, where we can agree to a fixed fee at the outset of your case, excluding of disbursements such as ( Barristers’ fees, expert reports fees, interpreters/Translators fees, etc). In some instances, we do charge hourly rates ( £150 per hour).

The agreed fixed fee will depend on the complexity of the matter and the casework involved in the matter.

Application Processing Time

On average Home Office (UKVI) takes around 3-6 months to process a visa application. We cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application and we would refer you to the Home Office's current standards and processing times.

Applicants are advised to check the latest information about UK visa application processing time on the official UK government website either applying from inside the UK or outside the UK.

Hourly Charges

When dealing with matters where we charge an hourly rate, we will be pleased to give you clear and open advice about the costs that you will incur in instructing us to act on your behalf. Our hourly fees will be calculated using the below hourly rates plus VAT (where applicable) and will depend on the level of experience of the solicitor or Fee earner dealing with your matter and the complexity of the matter.

At IRAS&CO LTD, our hourly rate is £150 per hour.

Disbursements

All disbursements will need to be paid separately in addition to the fees for our legal services. Disbursements are the costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties. Examples of disbursements include home office/visa application fees, court application fees, counsel charges, postage, interpreting/translation services, medical reports fees, expert report fees, mileage/travel expenses etc. This is not an exhaustive list and is meant purely as a guide.

  • Private hourly rates agreement 

No win, No fees agreement” means, you only pay us if you win your case, but you will still be liable for any disbursements. No win, No fees agreement is subject to a satisfactory merits assessment. If this applies, the client will only pay us if his case is successful but will still be liable for disbursements. We deduct 30% (Including VAT if applicable) if the case is successful.
